In 2009, Huxwrx Safety Company – formerly known as OSS – introduced the first Flow-Through® suppressor, that would go on to completely disrupt the suppressor industry and to become gold standard in suppression systems for professionals around the world. In 2020, OSS began testing the patented Flow-Through® suppressors against traditional baffle suppressors for toxic blowback. On average, the amount of toxic gas that was being emitted back at the shooter’s face from a traditional baffle suppressor was 265% higher than with a Flow-Through® suppressor. It was at that moment everything changed. In 2021, OSS made the decision to change its identity and commit its focus and development to building dedicated safety systems to protect end users. Now Huxwrx Safety Company is a human exposure workshop dedicated to building products that are optimized for the safety and health of customers without compromising efficiency or performance; its manifacturing is based in Millcreek, Utah.
